About Us
The restaurant opened in 1981 by my father, Mario Benvenuto. For 31 years he ran his business day and night with hard work and dedication. At that time I was 11 years of age and would accompany my dad to work all the time. I learned everything from washing dishes to making pizzas. I grew up being around the restaurant and all our customers became like family. I went on to get married and start a family of my own all while still working at Mario's with my dad and my husband as well. Sadly in July of 2012 my father, Mario passed away. It was a very difficult time for us but my husband, Antonio and I, knew we could not let my father's legacy go. We proudly stepped in for him and continue to operate his beloved Mario's doing things just as he would want. Many of the customs and traditions my dad started we continue to this day. We love doing what we do, and we love being a part of this amazing community of Woodbury.
